Welcome to St. John the Beloved.
Ordinary Time in the church year gives us a time to reflect on the life of Jesus and our vocation as Christians. This year we have seven Sundays before Lent begins and we read from the Gospel of St. Mark how Jesus fulfilled his vocation, his mission. We welcome you to join us here each week as we grow in our understanding of the mystery of the Incarnation and its meaning in our lives today leading us to practice our Christian vocation to be Christ in the world.

IMPORTANT
A drought in East Africa, complicated by political instability in Somalia, has led to desperate conditions for millions of people. Our Church is responding through Catholic Relief Services that has worked in the region for decades. Many CRS projects in East Africa over the years have made communities better able to withstand this drought and alleviating suffering. But many are still suffering, including Somalis who live beyond the reach of humanitarian aid and are fleeing to neighboring countries seeking help. CRS is responding to their needs. We ask that you show solidarity with those who are suffering in East Africa with your prayers and support. Prayer resources and more information are available at www.crs.org.
